At first I want to say thank you very much for the invitation. It is an honor and joy for me to come to Czech Republic for judging. In the past , 14 years ago, I started with my Labradors on national and international workingtests, since several years fieldtrials as well. Last season I won with my dog „Blackthorn Ireneus“ (Fix), among other competitions, the International Fieldtrial-Championship in Belgium. Meanwhile I asked for him the titel „Int. FTCH.“ I also won 3 times the „German-Cup“ (German Championships for teams) and past 5 IWTs successfully. Since 2009 I judged in Germany, Netherland, Sweden, Hungaria and Austria workingtests. Actually I have 6 Labradors in different ages at home. Some of them accompany me by hunting and picking-up and also I am looking confidently to the future with my two young dogs for fieldtrials.
Every time if I have the occasion to observe retrievers at work, I am impressed with the performance, which they are able to do. So I am looking forward to see a lot of retriever in the field now during the WT Final in Havlickuv Brod.

Thank you for the invitation and I believe that I can offer to the competitors at WT Jestřábec balanced yet challenging tests. In 1984 I became interested in Golden Retrievers. My passion for using and developing working skills typical for retriever started in 1986 when I have got my first dog Falco. I have started with in my first Field Trial in 1989. Today I live with three labrador retrievers Storm, Kane and Joker and we take part in working tests, Field Trials and I also use them during hunting days. I try to set my excercises in a way that corresponds with hunting practice. I like dogs that cooperate with their handlers and show good drive. Karel van Loo |
