I’ve been training and competing with Retrievers for 15 years now. I enjoy shooting, picking up, trialling and also participating in Working Tests.
I run Golden and Labrador Retrievers in France, abroad and in a few field trials in England every year. I made three of my dogs, the Labrador Carolhill Quistador and two Goldens Skywalker and Mistybrook Tuscan, International Field Trial Champions. I won the title of Vice-Champion at the European Championship twice and I was proud to win my semi-finals in Italy in 2007.
I also achieved « top dog » at the Skinner’s World Cup event in 2005. Actually, I really believe in my Golden Tuscan, who won the Centenary Open Working Test organised by the British Golden Retriever Club and also a days open stake (FT), which qualified me for the IGL British Championship in 2013.
I was also involved in the French Working Retriever Association for a long time, with the aim to organize field trials and working tests run along the British field trial rules. I like judging and meeting gundog friends and, therefore, I have been to France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria , England and this year I have the honour to judge IWT in Denmark.
I’m looking forward to visit the Czech republic and wish you all the best of luck.

I bought my first labrador as a pet dog in 2004 and in 2006 we entered the retriever world – dummies, game, hunting days. In the autumn 2006 I saw labradors from working lines for the first time. That was a love at first sight, which completely changed my life. In June 2007 first labrador from working lines came into my life – my once in a lifetime dog Int. FTCH Blackthorn Biham (Viky). Together we won many WT in the Czech republic and abroad and Viky won an award in almost every competition he entered. In 2010 we represented Czech Republic at Individual Challenge Cup and in 2011, 2013 and 2014 at IWT. In 2012 I made Viky up to Int. FTCH. Together with my wife we trained another 2 dogs up to the WT Open level and this season I hope to start at FT with my young yellow dog from Ireland Watergreen Joker. Last year we also bred first litter in our small kennel Lavondyss and we kept bitch and dog at home, who look very promising as Shelf won his first Novice class WT at less than 1y of age.
Our whole life is about the dogs nowadays. We run an e-shop and boarding kennels and I also train retrievers at our local grounds, but also around the Czech republic and abroad. During the year you can meet us at the WT and we also take part in as many trainings as we can with our dogs. During the shooting season I enjoy spending all my free time picking up with my dogs. Since 2009 I’m also the chief trainer of Retriever Sport CZ association, which organizes WTs, seminars and trainings with experienced trainers to improve retriever work in the Czech Republic.
I’m looking forward to the pleasant weekend and wish everybody lot of fun and best of luck!
