Michaela Tomcová (CZ)
My first encounter with retriever happened in 2001, when my parents have bought labrador as a family dog. After the beginnings with my first bitch LR Arleta od Drexlerova mlýna, when working with retrievers was more and more enjoyable, I started to watch working labradors abroad. At the end of 2006, my dream came true as I got a bitch Woodquarter Gundogs' Alabama (Ferrari) which is the first trial labrador in Czech Republic. Ferrari is my Heart Dog, we have participated in several WT
and FT and got some nice results too. On every level of WT she gained a 1st place and also several Judges´ Choices. We also started in 5 FT where she won 3xCACIT and 1 res. CACIT. In 2011 we were part of the first Czech team starting in IWT where we have finished on 16th place out of 33 competitors.
In 2010 I have succesfully breeded first litter of trial labradors in Czech Republic (Arlet Star Kennel). From this litter I have kept a bitch Ann Amelia Arlet Star (Mia). Mia has passed several WT with excelent results, but I have concentrated mainly on Field Trials. In 2012 she has won her first trial and got CACIT and CACT titles and in 2013 she has won in another two IFT and received her International Working Champion title. Mia is in pup right now and I am planning to keep another bitch of
this bloodline.
I spend all my free time with dogs, outside of hunting season we train and participate in working tests and in the season we are rewarded with Field Trials and duck, pheasant and rabbit hunts, where my dogs actively work. Every year I go to several trainings abroad where I gain new inspiration and experience. When my schedule allows I organise training around Mladá Boleslav.
I wish to all competitors good luck and a nicely spent day in Rakovník.

I have dogs around since my childhood. I work with the labrador retrievers for almost 11 years when I got my first labrador bitch Hany Regent Plus. With Hany, even though she is coming from the show line, I have participated in both WT and hunting tests. We have won the first WT in Czech Republic, 3 times first place in WT – Beginners, once first place in WT – Intermediate, we were Champions of Czech Republic 2007 and winners of the WT tour ČR 2007. She passed Hunting
tests (PZ, SZVP, NFTR, MFTR, ZPR) in first prize as well.
I got a new puppy 4 years ago – a bitch Justurna Blackthorn „Birdy“. She is coming form Hungarian working line. In 2011 she has won Puppy class in her first WT and received also the Judges´Choice, in 2012 she was third in WT Beginners class and in 2013 she has won Intermediate class with flawless score (80 out of 80 points). For the first time I have judged WT in České Budějovice in 2006.
I wish to all competitors good luck and a nicely spent day in Rakovník.
