My first encounter with retriever happened in 2001, when my parents have bought labrador as a family dog. Together we have passed OVVR and later some hunting tests. In 2004 I have acquired bitch Arleta od Drexlerova mlýna puppy of Artušand with her my life with dogs has begun. With Arlwta we have passed several working tests and hunting tests with some nice results.
Unfortunatelly when she was three Arleta had to undartake an elbow surgery a we had to reduce her working activities.
I enjoyed working with retrievers more and more so I began to be interested in working labradors abroad. In the end of 2008 my dream came true and I have brought a bitch Woodquarter Gundogs' Alabama (Ferrari) from Austria, whitch was the first trial labrador in Czech Republic. Ferrari is a „Dog of my Life“ and I send many thanks to Wolfgang Harrer, who entrusted her to me. With Ferrari I have participated in several working tests and Field trials with very nice results. She has won first place in each working test class and also was awarded several Judges Choices. We have started in five Field Trials and got 3xCACIT and 1x res. CACIT. In 2011 as a first Czech team ever we have started in IWT and finished in 16th place out of 33 teams.
In 2010 I have succesfully breeded first litter of trial labradors in Czech Republic (Arlet Star Kennel). From zhis litter I have kept a bitch Ann Amelia Arlet Star (Mia). In 2011 Mia started in her first working test and she has won. In 2012 she has started for the first time abroad in Belgium where she has achieved grat result and finished second in the L class. She capped last year with participation in her first IFT, where she gained 1st place and her first CACIT and CACT titles. This year I plan to start with Mia in several working tests and Field Trials and next year she should also have her first litter.
Ferrari will have her second litter this year and of course I will keep one of her offsprings. This time it will be a dog :-).
I spend all my free time with dogs, outside of hunting season we train and participate in working tests and in the season we are rewarded with Field Trials and duck, pheasant and rabbit hunts, where my dogs actively work. Every year I go to several trainings abroad where I gain new inspiration and experience. When my schdule allows I organise training around Mladá Boleslav. I wish good luck and a nicely spent day to all competitors.

I was involved with dogs nearly my whole live. My parents had two dachhunds and my first own dog was a beagle, who tought me, what it means to be consequent! Unfortunatly the beagle was hit by a car and so, after some months the first labrador, Archie, came to my home. He was bought as a family dog for my kids, my girlfriend and me.
But then, Heike Klieber, the breeder of Archie showed me, what Retrievers are able to do and I was fascinated of dummywork from the first moment on. Archie and I had some very nice results, like six first places in Open workingtests, a lot of judges choices and also good results in two IWTs in Germany and Denmark.
Actually I have a three year dog from a czech breeder, Michaela Tomcova, who bought one of the bitches of my litter, which I had some years ago. We started very successful into this season, with a first place in intermediat class.
Since eight years I´m a workingtest judge. I´m looking forward to the test in Jalovec and wish good luck and a lot of fun to all competitors.
